I've done the angled 345 J seats, including the first commercially operated flight for AC... I still say the HD coffins were WAY worse, although I've done the HD coffin for 7.5 hour TATLs, and the 345s only for 4.5 hour tcons.
I think we were all so excited by the arrival of the angled seat that the reality was such a disappointment. I just remember finding myself in a heap at the bottom and wishing for the return of the big old 343 armchairs. I think this was on a flight to HKG but my memory fails.
