Too bad I can't get the park tickets with this.... I was able to buy them AT the hotel last year with my CSR and get them to post as 3x travel (hotel) so I picked up like 1300 UR points that way... think I would rather have ~2200 MR points though, lol Based on the Delta flights I usually book I'm getting about 1.4c/point which is close to the 1.5c/pt from Chase, so an extra 2x from Amex seems more powerful.
Yup, you won't be able to get 5x MR for the purchase of Disneyland tickets but still can get 3x UR via CSR. Since the hotel is prepaid, your AMEX card is not needed anymore; provide the CSR card to hotel for incidental charges (room service, minibar, etc.). Purchase Disneyland tickets at hotel and charge it to the room; when you check out of hotel and pay with CSR card, the charge will be categorize as travel Thus, get 3x UR on Disneyland tickets.
