If there is no field in the customer profile accessible through self-service or contact center why should this be available for a kiosk or check-in counters.
It makes no sense as the KTN should be added to the itinerary before checkin. Or do I miss something?
When I checked in to my ORD-IST flight 3 days ago (at the ORD T5 check in counter), I was given a pre check boarding pass. I was never asked for my KTN. Actually I forgot all about it until I sway my paper boarding pass.
