My guess is that converting 32 rooms to 16 suites is not going to fix their fundamental issues. No golf course, no history, no views, and then there's that entrance off the strip mall parking lot.
One of the members of the marketing team (who we chatted with today) said they have received numerous complaints about their lack of suites and the hotel is continually overcrowded since they just have the one main pool area, and that cutting back on the number of rooms will hopefully fix that issue.
