I've also heard that about premier Rouge but I'm not too worried as its a daytime flight.
To be honest if you got to sleep most of the flight that’s what a lot of people pay for. And just to avoid Y of course. I remember the first time I was using a J checkin with my parents and they (who never fly non Y) were bemused as there were no lines anywhere. They don’t see the value, on their ~6 segments a year.
Enjoy the SSL, see if you still want to partake in plane food (there’s normally a all at once service on later flights), get some sleep and enjoy not being crammed into a tiny seat next to other uncomfortable people for n hours. Then get off the plane before all of them.
Just keep your expectations low and even PR isn’t too terrible as long as you are happy to watch stuff on your or their iPad. If it’s your own get the app in advance if you want their content, if it’s theirs they love to collect ridiculously early before landing so be warned. At least mainline IFE can be watched pretty close to (and brought it in non J) landing.
