Over on the Marriott forum, one person posted a week or two ago that they got 4 different answers by calling Marriott multiple times (but I'm not sure over what time) asking each time how many years they had that qualified toward LTPP in the new program. For example, some CSRs counted their MR Gold years while other CSRs said only years at MR Plat counted. So it sounds like they were counting, rather than having a count displayed on their screens.

So unless what you say above was implemented more recent than that person's experiences, something doesn't jive here between what you've been told Marriott CSRs can do and what people actually calling up are experiencing.
I have no idea. But, I saw it myself last week. Perhaps it is programmed to just read the times that a member completed 75 nights since that is what part of the legacy requirements were? If that is the case, one could certainly get different numbers if some CSR's are adding in years of earned MR Gold on top of it.

Meanwhile, the SPG dashboard is not specific enough. It tells me I have 5 elite years, but it doesn't spell out which calendar years those were and which were Gold vs which were Platinum. (I have less than 100 SPG LT nights; any years I qualified for SPG elite status would have been via stays or challenges or MR linking.) I requested a lifetime master statement from SPG a week and a half ago and am still waiting for it (they told me it can take up to 10 business days, because i requested that it cover back to 2005).
Send me your SPG account details and I can have an answer for you as to how many Lifetime nights and Years of earned Platinum you have with SPG in about 2 two minutes.
