For example, SEA-NRT-SIN is 8,093 miles per GCMap while SEA-ICN-SIN is 8,083 miles. To DTW, SIN-ICN-DTW is 9,503 miles while SIN-NRT-DTW is 9,721 miles.
I assume that these are the distances for MQM purposes, assuming that it's a genuine connection with a change of flight number. Direct flights would be considered to be shorter in miles.
