Cool it guys. I just spoke with a supervisor in Premier Reservations and she informed me that they are fixing all of the issues mentioned in this thread, one by one. She indicated that the upgrade notification emails have been fixed and now should be going out in real time, and that the airport monitors and website tracking of upgrades should be back working soon. She read me a list of known issues, and it sounded pretty complete. As such, let's not get overly paranoid. I believe she knew what she was talking about.
