euclaim.co.uk (granted, I don't know the exact flight numbers for your ATH-HER flights, but that is of no consequence), and they also - as an independent observer who specialise in prosecuting claims for delays - accept that your flight was subject to an extraordinary circumstance that does not qualify for compensation.
The airline should have paid for your hotel, food, and provided you with a new flight - so it seems they met their obligations to you.
