A lot of pax would understand the meaning behind it, especially the ones comming from a country with an colonial 'history' in the past.
Delta is doing the same in other countries. Notice the Roti Chicken (Dutch Chef Selection) with potatoes, string beans and rice as a choice in Delta One on flights departing out of AMS :
