Should be good to go with the business card. In my own recent experience with just this, I did my best to verify "if I get this CD, I am getting the card, right?" and they always said yes. As in, I have no interest in doing this if it's still a maybe. I believe if they offer you the secured card option then it's a done deal, because if it's secured, then it's well, secured.
They do not give you any notification after setting up the CD. It just takes a loooong time. I gave a pretty detailed play by play of everything including the dates in my above posts.
By the way, it took so long to get the card, my first statement closed about a week after getting the card. I did an immediate ~$1,000 charge right before the statement closed (unintentionally) so I got my miles really, really quick.
