According to the chart for qualifying Lifetime activity when Lifetime membership first became a possibility in SPG, any nights earned from either of the SPG AMEX co-branded cards did not count as lifetime activity. Those who used this activity to become elite, however, would have that activity counted towards the years part of the equation.
