This is different than the PayByPhone option which uses an app.
Oh cool then. That must be very recent development, and not sure if it is citywide yet. It's hard to check on Sundays as most meters are free parking and don't accept payment today.
Also, the SF meters do now accept AMEX (wasn't the case a few months ago), even though there is no sticker on it.
