I'd choose the SGS over almost any city hotel in the world, with the one caveat that their pool is often even colder than other Bangkok hotel pools which can be a bit irritating.
Ive got to ask having stayed at SGS a couple of times what exactly is the service that makes the difference because I must have missed it?
