I suspect it doesn't work anywhere near as well as GIG-JFK-LHR, as the GIG-JFK flight connected quite nicely with the daylight JFK-LHR. There's no similar flight out of MIA, which would mean a ~13 hour layover in MIA (4am arrival, 5pm departure, give or take).
