I could be wrong, but AFAIK its anything but a "X" or award fare (X fare from what I read is usually a Priceline fare).

But yes, the cheapest paid coach fare through US Airways or expedia or wherever should qualify (you didnt specify which promo you're talking about to get a more specific answer). But hopefully that helps.
