Yes, the interim map is definitely more conservative than it needs to be, perhaps to also protect for swap to 738. Not really sure how to explain the logic, but there are oddities with several of the aircraft:
737-x00 - seatmap showing fewer F seats (such as only 8) ???

In any case, you can expect the actual map to show up between three and two days prior to departure (around 3a central time).
