i know it’s a LCC so 9 abreast is more likely to differentiate the luxury offerings by JL
They could, if they are willing to serve nothing else than drinks. They will lack the galley space for food. Lol.

I think it is a given that to get profit out of an LCC operation, there is no space for 2-4-2. They seemed to want to staff the cockpit from JAL pilots, so no low cost crews there. Cost has to go down somewhere
