Sorry to tack on a different question here, but the title fits, so I didn't want to create another post.
A few years ago, I had 2 Amex cards and I closed 1 of them. The one I closed was an old account and the one I kept was a new one. When I closed, Amex was able to date the new account to the same as the opening date of the old one, so my account aging wasn't negatively affected. Does anyone know if BofA can do this?
