The ever-delayed fast-train will go the distance in 20 minutes but until our messianic hopes will be fulfield one has several options including a taxi (quite expensive), a shared van (relatively cheap but tiresome and usually unpleasant drivers), a slow-train (through Tel Aviv, see in my former
TR) and a bus that takes you all the way to Jerusalem central bus station. A couple of months ago I took it from Jerusalem to the airport and was pleasantly surprised so gave it a try this time on the "inbound". Over all, it was a very good experience, quick (45 minutes) and cheap (16₪).
