EasyJet EU261 help please
Here we go again! Does Easyjet have a standard approach to first saying 'no' to everything and then only if you push or go through CEDR do you get any joy? This time they are claiming to swerve their responsibilities, blaming LGW on a lack of deicing fluid! OK it was on 18th March when it was cold and it snowed in the morning. But this was in the early evening not the morning. The aircraft rostered landed at 19.13 (from BFS) and was supposed to then operate U28117, scheduled to depart at 18.05. If it was a normal EasyJet turnaround, I reckon the flight could have got away at around 19.50. So my question I guess is were aircraft being de-iced at that time in the evening on 18th March. If not then surely the cancellation due to a lack of deicing fluid doesn't fly?
Anyone out there who can point me in the right direction?
