To each their own, but I put through $3500 in Amazon purchases today and will walk away with 25,000 AP miles, or enough for a one way YYZ to YVR business class reward that I normally pay $2000 in cash for. This promo should be pretty obvious for people to try, at least once, and perhaps get into the hang of doing for purchases that they'd otherwise be making through amazon anyways (as I do).
