In a less spectacular move, the Mercure Tel Aviv left the chain, now trading as "
Hotel BY 14" referencing their address in the name. It is a bit perplexing, as it appears the hotel is undergoing a long-overdue overhaul, bringing it closer in standard and style to more recently opened / refurbished Mercures. At any rate, this leaves Accor without a hotel in TLV.
