As mentioned further up the thread, these Sleeper Service flights are basically the same. You can have your meal whenever you wish. Supper or breakfast, or anytime in between - that's entirely up you.

Fact is, the people who really have SQ's ear don't need a full meal on these flights. Their preference is to get a good night's sleep, which is precisely what the Sleeper Service provides for. Most of these complaints about not getting a lavish meal on a red-eye flight come from people who don't contribute a whole lot to SQ's bottom line.
