Glad you brought up this issue...I never thought about the possibility that the PP card holder might need to show a same-day boarding pass so I looked it up on the Priority Pass website and unfortunately, you're correct....for those ending their travel at LAX or departing the next day, they "technically" would not be allowed entry although I suspect the lounge agents would relax the rules in this particular case *fingers crossed*.
