You're kind of in the wrong forum. The airline credit is dependent on Amex, not Hilton. And other than the maximum amount reinmbursed, it works the same for Amex Hilton Aspire cards as for Amex PRG cards as for Amex Platinum cards. And thus it's discussed (including what works and what doesn't work) in this thread in the Amex forum:

If nothing has chanced recently, you can buy $100 e-gift cards (
not any larger than $100!), so you'd have to buy 3 separate gift cards to get reimbursed $250. But double check in that thread.
(It works differently for each airline, btw, so that's why there's a separate thread in the Amex forum for airline credits for each airline, rather than each card, because it works the same on each Amex card that gives an airline credit.)
