So, it looks like Amex and SPG are just going to pull the plug on this SPG Business benefit mid-year. That really stinks and certainly seems unfair.

We obtained the SPG Business card just a few months ago with every intent to use the club lounge benefit for our already-reserved stay at the Salzburg Sheraton in September, and possibly for another stay in Munich later in the year. Now, it looks like we are just out of luck. The club lounge access we were promised has vanished, effective August 1st, just like that.

Does anyone know ... Is it possible to use points to confirm into a Club Level Room at this early juncture, or do we have to wait until the week prior to check-in (when availability may have dried up).
