Premium internet is no better. I was there in November and discussed this with a sympathetic front desk agent at checkout. The property is well aware their internet is basically nonfunctional. They don't care. They're still selling out at $400+ per night many nights.
Take your business elsewhere if you need functional internet. Le Meridien down the street is much better. Parc55 also has blazing fast internet.
The internet is still the same almost after a year. I'm getting speeds of blazing 0.8mbps on the premium. If you need to get any work done, beware. I also agree that this is a 4 star hotel with 2 star service charging 5 star prices. From the bellman to the valet, they'd rather not deal with your bags, car or room keys or checkin.
