I fly quite a lot and understand that when traveling, anything can happen, including a last minute aircraft change.

I've always wanted to go to Istanbul and spend a couple of days there which Turkish Airlines allows and the fare is still the same since we are flying from another airport via IST to MRU.
The other option was to fly with Emirates on the A380 from DXB which would have the nicer business class but in this case it is a matter of being able to stop in Istanbul, while in Dubai we would only be transiting since Emirates charges quite a lot more once you go over the 24 hours.

I was only getting concerned because I saw also this video which is actually a A330-200 with a different business class all together, not the recliner and not the fully flat seat but with one in between and it looks like the angled flat seat airlines used to have like China Airlines, KLM on their A330's etc. but I assume these are limited to the A330-200's.

I think we'll just take the small risk and enjoy Istanbul and Turkish Airlines.
the likelihood of TK swapping MRU with recliners is less than EK swapping your flights with 7-abreast 777s! Don’t know which is worse.
