YYZ-LHR-BRU (or thru YUL), both high YQ but not much other choice
BRU-IST-SIN-TPE (on TK and SG, with layover hours to see a bit of IST and SIN)
TPE-ICN-TPE (long layover to see a bit of Seoul)
TPE-EWR-YYZ (HND-YYZ has higher YQ)

The miles for those individual segments add up to 21279.
What tools can help me to figure out the YQ, and mpm, other than calling ae?
The MPM is to and from TPE individually. So, your routing between YYZ-TPE can't be more than 10544, and the same for TPE-YYZ.

There are a few issues with your proposed itinerary.

1)YYZ-LHR-BRU-IST-SIN-TPE is way too long, coming in at 12507
2) I don't think you'll be able to transit TPE again on the way back.

There is a whole thread on MPM here: Aeroplan City Pair mileage (new pseudo-MPM)
You can use www.gcmap.com to calculate mileage of your itinerary. It's not exact, but it's gives you a good idea of where you're standing with mileage.
