NRT-KUL on MH to KUL-SIN on SilkAir... MH’s NRT staff said not possible, even though the SilkAir flight was MH ticket stock.
I didn’t push the issue, because my expectation going in was it wouldn’t be OK’d. I was prepared for that eventuality; it just made the KUL transit a bit more involved.
Its not the airline ticket stock that matters but the operating flight...which is clearly not on MH metal.
