Unfortunately, no business traveller from NYC is going to connect in PHL for a flight. We have too many options. Most will just take LX, DL or UA to ZRH. There are already 6x a day from NYC.
Its too bad that AA isn't adding more TATL destinations from JFK. DL keeps growing. Gets hard to ignore.
And i don't see it get any better. GIG is becoming seasonal. The cuts will keep happening imo. At this point, I see AA as the cheapest for J on JFK-SAN/SEA/LAS/SFO. Not a great thing for an airline with such high cost "trying" (not too hard) to keep corporate clients. Great for me though as a leisure traveller these days.
