We didn't try the Annex, but loved the Kadan Suite "Aoi" (Room # 107.) It was at the end of the hallway so far less noise and more privacy, and the room was perfectly laid out. If it's available, go for it.

I was less impressed with the Kadan Suite "Fuji," which was oddly laid out and had some noise coming from the adjacent kitchen.
