When I applied and got interviewed for my family (2 adults plus 3 kids), they told us that we needed to book appointments for everyone individually, but they did not have to be consecutive time slots. As long as all the appointments were on the same day even at different times, they would see us all together beginning with the first appointment slot. I concur with previous post about checking back frequently - my original appointments were scheduled out 4 months later, but within a few days I was able to find an opening a week later.
