Yes in all cases it was a property that I had stayed in at least 3 or 4 times in the past year. I had planned on using the resturant or lobby to conduct the interview as I was flying in and out of the airport on the same day and it is now easier to this off the airport.

I simply indicated that I was a frequent guest of the property but was only flying in and out on that day. I did not ask in advance and just simply asked the front desk manager and nicely explained the situation. I'm not positive, but I do believe they pulled up my stay record before giving me a key.

While Ohmark's comments above are a year old, I do not disagree with him. Had they refused to allow me use of the lounge, we would have gone to the resturant or a quiet place in the lobby. It is certainly not a request that I woud expect the property to grant, but is another reason I am very happy with being a PM with Marriott

I have always been allowed use of the lounge for early check in wihen a guest, even as ealry as 9:00 AM in the morning
