Some of AC domestic widebody flights aren't exactly re-positioning flights. They are more aircraft utilization flights. In that a widebody will arrive in YUL in the early afternoon from a TATL, and won't be needed for another TATL until later in the evening. That gives it time to do a round trip to YYZ instead of sitting idle doing something useless like a getting a thorough cleaning
