UA has 20 777 wide body planes for just domestic use, and probably 20 757 with layflats for domestic use. AC has no domestic layflat seats ( perhaps some 767's) realistically most of the layflat seats domestic on AC are for positioning of the planes, same as UA has tons of those flights. As an example AC has flown 767 to NYC to accommodate passenger issues.
Back on Topic, there are lots of layfat seats going to HNL and a huge increase from years ago, there is no need to suffer AC 737's or Rouge.
