I do something a little different. My Aunt was the first female journalist for the Los Angeles times. In her effects after her passing I found a document from 1945 for the requirements to become an American Airlines "Stewardess" as part of the job application process. I make copies of the original document and give them to Flight Attendants when flying as a tribute to my Aunt. The enjoyment from current FA's in reading the document is so rewarding and it is a great way to honor my Aunt. The FA's are amazed at the restrictions and requirements in 1945 and admit that they wouldn't take a FA job today with the restrictions from 1945.
