Of the 25ish times I have cleared CPU in last 2 years, I have NEVER once received an email. That is why I have to check the App twice a day T-4 days out, just in case, as I need to quickly change the seat if they have put my in bulkhead seat (would rather have an E+ exit , than a F bulkhead as I am tall).
