Just returned from a series of my first AA flights, three of which were in the 772 in forward-facing BE J seats. Thanks to everyone who has offered advice and information in this thread.
We were in row 1, center seats. We found the location to be convenient to the restroom and galley, and we were undisturbed by traffic or noise. The seats were more comfortable and the area more spacious compared to our one 787 Zodiac seats. Only complaint about the seat was the difficult exiting to a standing position when in lie-flat or recline mode. Needed to fully retract to take-off mode.787 seats more user-friendly in this regard.
