Well I’m heading back to Mexico City for my bday weekend next year...and I’ve booked the StR (Executive Suite) yet again.

As much as I’d like to try Las Alcobas, the LA suites are ridiculously overpriced compared to the StR. Between the StR terrace bar I love, the StR butler service I love, the much better likelihood of an upgrade at the bigger StR, and the much better cost/benefit for the StR, it’s impossible to justify spending so much more for LA—even with its location near Pujol and Quintonil and the wonderful Polanco neighborhood. It’s just a 15 min Uber ride, after all.
