That said, whenever I'm in J on a wide-body, they almoost always seem to start at Door 1L - work their way to the back of the J cabin - then cross over to the right side aisle and work their way forward. How does that fit into policy?
I always choose a seat in the middle of the cabin on meal flights to try and cover my bases. The only trouble then is a rogue flight attendant that jumps around the cabin.
