My Diners card originally started with 3852 I believe. I picked it up in 1987 only because the company where I worked, Florsheim Shoes, accepted it, along with the oddball JCB card too. I don’t recall the awards being all that exceptional either. I dropped the card in the 90s and the only card from 1987 I have left (and keep) is my AMEX account.
