Tomashi, I'm hoping I'll be able to go to Tokyo this summer... still crossing my paws, but if I'm lucky, I really wanna go see that Starbucks in Omotesando/Harajuku that you mentioned. I like cool, colorful and creative artsy fartsy surroundings & people too! :-:
And I'd probably take a look at the Roppongi Starbucks that mjm mentioned too..
Oh! everyone should check mjm's starbucks mugs collection (he's got a link --do you see? just need to scroll up) I checked it out --it's quite impressive!! You must travel A LOT to have amassed such a collection mjm! ^
Edinburgh Scotland would be an experience too! The one Tornado mentioned.. ahhh trying to envision myself in comfy plush chair, a good book in hand, pausing every now and then to gaze out the floor-to-ceiling windows to see magnificent castles whilst sipping with delight my iced caramel macchiato!

P.S. Sorry couldn't contribute a favorite Starbucks.. as I'm in Calgary, and the Starbuck's here all seem to pale in comparison to the ones you all described. Yikes!
