This is just an update to catch up with everything that's happened since the start of the year. Ie, they just "flipped the switch" to show current status as opposed to yesterday they were still showing end-of-2017 status.
Everyone's credit card, OTOH, is on a different cycle, depending on when the credit card itself has the anniversary (and annual fee due). Yes, my personal credit card cycles in January too, but that's just a coincidence that it's in the same month as the annual mid-January status display update.
