I stayed here last week for a few days (12/27-12/29) and was really looking forward to it as I was really drawn to the design and décor based on the online photos. I was recognized as a platinum and was given a "upgrade" from my booked Superior Room to a Deluxe Room. What I really appreciated is that they let me check in very early, around 10:30 AM. I was planning on just dropping my bag and exploring for a bit, but after a long flight from the US it was very nice to drop the bag up to the room and take a quick power nap. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed, strong rain head shower and design and décor was right up my alley. The breakfast was outstanding (maybe the best I have had in Europe) with very attentive staff, large spread of a little bit of everything and a always nice to see quick made to order menu of egg, pancake, ect. items. I did not eat at the restaurant and the gym was closed. I did have a beer in the reception/lobby bar area which was also designed to my taste, but nobody was in the hotel so kinda boring.... Now on the the negatives... no way around it location sucks (not the hotel or staffs fault), might be OK if your doing business in the area or going the opposite direction of the city center to the Oktoberfest beer grounds, simply too far from city center to be a convenient tourist hotel. Also not many restaurants near location. Given all the other hotel options near the main station/city center and the rate I paid vs. the rate the other hotels were getting I can't say Roomers was a good value, but if the costs were in-line with the others I could easily forgive the location given all the other positive things this hotel has going for it.
