They're allowed, and you only have to call in for CX and LA since they aren't bookable online anyway.

And FYI, I have a small sample size, but so far I've flown two one-ways to the US (one on PS and one on CX) and had no issues reentering the US with Global Entry and no SSSS on my boarding passes.
