Just applied for an Alaska personal card, despite already having a personal card. Card approved w about $10k limit.

I currently have one personal and one biz card both with about $10k limits. I canceled another personal card a few weeks ago that I'd dropped the limit to $5k. I've had these cards over a year and paid the AF on the second year as I forgot to cancel them! So that might be why.

Also applied for another biz card but it went pending. Shall see.

Net, looks like you can have a personal card and get another one; well, unless they come back and deny it but I thought BOA was over those mistakes.
