Alcohol: I am not sure about Alberta but in Ontario we have none. The only alcohol Costco sell is in the windshield wiper fluid/deicer.
For auto items, just find a Canadian Tire store..They are large stores (despite the name they sell far, far more than tires). They are ubiquitous. Every gas stations sells windsheild deicer fluid, but at about a 60% markup from what you would find elsewhere. I would not buy at Costco as you would be getting a case of it there.
