I have done my best to read through everything and have a couple of questions. I have never had an Alaska airlines card before and received the 30,000 miles offer via US mail. No monetary credit offered. It is an application for the signature card. I have my credit frozen with all 3 monitoring companies. I do have a BofA baseball card that I don't use and recently got postal mail from them asking me to call them to discuss what they could do to make the card work for me.
--Would the best course of action to be to call the number on the signature card US postal offer and see if they approve me? There is some sort of personal code, so I am wondering if I am pre-approved? I would not get a monetary credit, but I am concerned about having to unfreeze credit, etc.

Even if you are pre-approved - I highly highly doubt they will approve you for new CC without requiring you to unfreeze your credit so they can check.
